Biography

Musical Education :
1989 Musical studies at the ITU – State Conservatoire of Turkish Music
Tanbur lessons taken from Sadun Aksüt, Necip Gülses, Mehmet Şeker
Orchestral performance studies from Alaeddin Yavaşça, Tülin Korman and Çetin Körükçü
1996 Master’s Degree studies at the Instrument Department of his faculty.

Performances :
1993 § Concerts by Kubbealtı Music Association / Yusuf Ömürlü
1995 Formed “Bolahenk Turkish Music Group” in cooperation with some friends
Took part in the concerts of the ITU – State Conservatoire of Turkish Music Orchestra
1998 Guest musician of the concert by the Cultural Ministry – Istanbul State Orchestra of Turkish Music
2000 Played for the popular Turkish Music serial programs in the TV presented by Çetin & Nesrin Körükçü

Sound Recordings :
2003 Played tanbur with The Authentic Turkish Music Ensemble of Istanbul for the CD production “Ferahnak Mevlevi Ayini”
